James Gunn has certainly done some impressive projects in his career of him, but in his opinion, none can compare with Guardians of the Galaxy – The Holiday Special. As he confirmed to RadioTimes.com, his new project has reached levels of insanity and ridicule never reached before. Knowing at least Gunn’s brilliant career, such a prospect seems downright unlikely. And if the director hasn’t revealed further details regarding Guardians of the Galaxy – The Holiday Special, his words have certainly sparked the curiosity of fans.

Guardians of the Galaxy – The Holiday Special will debut next December. “This is the most incredible thing I’ve ever done,” the director announced. “It’s totally ridiculous and every day I can’t believe we’re actually shooting it. We are all in love with the project. It is something completely different than what we have done so far. I can’t wait for the fans to see it. “

James Gunn made his entry into the world of cinecomics with the first episode of Guardians of the Galaxy in 2014, which in itself was quite an ambitious undertaking. In fact, at that historical moment, the Marvel universe was still exploring the most famous heroes such as Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America. The Guardians, on the other hand, were less known characters and the wager was greater.

The film proved to be a huge cinematic success, establishing a fanbase for these heroes as large as that of other more well-known characters. “Also, the project will come out very soon, which is next Christmas. Fans won’t have to wait much longer, ”James Gunn added in the interview. Gunn’s genius was also established by his work with DC, thanks to the success of The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker. Fans are also waiting for Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3.
