The child was struck by the father’s makeup. The Batman arrives in cinemas on March 4, 2022
The Batman is the new feature film by Matt Reeves (Cloverfield, Apes Revolution – Planet of the Apes) who will soon bring an unreleased version of Bruce Wayne, embodied by Robert Pattinson (The Lighthouse, Maps to the Stars), all over the world, who he is still in the throes of revenge, but at the same time has plenty of time to show off his incredible pro detective skills.
Within the film, we will get to know several antagonists who are part of the mythical universe of the Dark Knight such as the Riddler (Paul Dano) who seems to be the central villain of the story, Catwoman who is embodied by Zoë Kravitz, John Turturro who instead lends his face to Carmine Falcone and another in particular.
We are referring to Colin Farrell’s Oswald Cobblepot, also known by the nickname of the Penguin (a character that also appeared within Batman – The Return of Tim Burton with the face of Danny De Vito). If you look at the various footage of the film, Farrell actually looks unrecognizable and it is scary to think that the make-up made is so different from the original face of the star.
If you have had this feeling, you must not feel alone: as the artist himself told Extra, in fact, even his youngest son was horrified the first time he saw his father’s makeup, but after a minute of acute reflection, the make-up has conquered him too.
The Batman is produced by Warner Bros. Pictures, DC Entertainment, 6th & Idaho Productions with executive production by Simon Emanuel, Michael E. Uslan, Walter Hamada, Chantal Nong Vo, and the screenplay by Reeves himself accompanied by Peter Craig. The release of the feature film is close to now: we have to wait until March 3, 2022, while in the United States the realization will arrive a day later.
