'Mumbai Diaries 2'... The second season of 'Mumbai Diaries 26/11' has arrived on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video. Like the first season, this season too has a full dose of thrill and suspense. The story is also strong and the direction is also amazing. But, still, there is a drawback. What? To know about it you will have to read our review. Read on and decide whether this series is worth your time.
Mumbai Diaries 2 Story:
'Mumbai Diaries 2' starts from where the first part ended. A case is going on against Dr. Kaushik Oberoi (Mohit Raina), head of the trauma department of Bombay General Hospital. The court has not declared Dr. Kaushik guilty. But everyone has considered him guilty. Even Dr. Kaushik himself.
On one hand, Dr. Kaushik lives in trauma. On the other hand, other doctors of the hospital are heaving a sigh of relief after the 26/11 attacks. As usual, everyone is planning to go home after finishing their work. But then terrible rains begin and cause havoc. The doctors have not yet come out of the trauma of 26/11 and a new challenge arises before them. In such a situation, it is shown how the hospital staff comes to terms with this situation.
Mumbai Diaries 2 Web Series Analysis:
Like the last season, the story of this season also seemed quite strong. Didn't feel bored anywhere. In none of the episodes did it feel as if the story was being dragged forcibly. In short, the entire series has the right amount of suspense as well as thrill. For this, the writer and director should be given full marks.
Konkana Sen has done an amazing job as Dr. Chitra Das. Every time she proves through her performance that nothing is difficult for her. Talking about Mohit Raina, he has been given less screen time in the second season as compared to the first season. However, he has done a good job in that also. Mrinmayee Deshpande (Sujata Ajawale), Satyajit Dubey (Ahan Mirza), Natasha Bhardwaj (Dia Parekh), Tina Desai (Ananya), Shreya Dhanwantri (Mansi) and Prakash Belawadi (Dr. Subramaniam) were the support system of this series. Without his excellent performance, this series would not have become so successful.
This was the only thing missing
To watch 'Mumbai Diaries 2', it is necessary to watch 'Mumbai Diaries 26/11'. If you have watched the first season, you will miss Dr. Kaushik Oberoi (Mohit Raina) in the second season. You will miss his magic. Along with Dr. Kaushik, we will also miss the charm of news reporter turned anchor Mansi.
Watch or not
If you like watching medical suspense thriller series, then you can binge-watch it on weekends. If you like Konkana's acting then you can watch this series. But if you want to watch this series to see Dr. Kaushik Oberoi (Mohit Raina) from the first season, then you may be disappointed.
