Venkatesh Saindhav Review In Telugu: Venkatesh has a fan following among the family audience. But… there is a good mass hero in him. Dharma Chakra, Ganesh, Lakshmi, and Tulsi acted exceptionally in action sequences.
After seeing the trailer, it seems that ‘Saindhav’ has plenty of emotions and sentiments as well as mass elements that the family audience expects from Venky. And how was the movie? How did director Shailesh Kolanu, who made the ‘hit’ series, make this film? Let’s see in the review.
Saindhav Movie Story:
Saindhav Koneru (Venkatesh) is a port employee in Chandraprastha. Baby Gayatri (Sara Palekar) is his life. Manojna (Shraddha Srinath) is a cab driver. Saindhav is next door. When her husband (Getup Srinu) hits her, she files a case against him and comes home. Saindhav means Prana to Manojna. She takes care of his child like her daughter. One day Gayatri falls down. If the baby has SMA disease, to survive Rs. Doctors say to do an injection which costs 17 crores.
Saindhav family history aside… One day a huge amount of guns, drugs, and fake currency will arrive at Chandraprastha port. Customs officer Murthy (Jayaprakash) seizes and holds a press meeting to reveal more details. Mitra (Mukesh Rushi), Vikas Malik (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), Michael (Jishshu Sen Gupta), and others belong to the cartel team. If Vikas sends his men to Murthy for them, Saindhav will kill him. All the gangsters including Mitra are shocked to know that Psycho alias Saindhav Koneru is back.
What is a psycho flashback? What happened between the cartel leaders and Saindhav? Why did Vikas stop Saindhav from trying to inject his baby? Did Saindhav give drugs, guns, and fake currency to Vikas for injection? What finally happened? You have to watch the movie to know.
Saindhav Movie Analysis:
Coming out of the theater… Did you take ‘Saindhav’ with faith in the story? Or did you believe in the hero’s characterization and made the film? Doubt that. The story of ‘Saindhav’ is nothing new. Screenplay & story are the routine patterns seen since ‘Basha’ days. If the hero who leaves the past and lives as a common man gets into trouble… if he has to fight with old enemies again… the moment this story starts, it becomes clear how the climax is going to be.
While watching ‘Saindhav’… Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vikram’ and Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailor’ are remembered, it is not the audience’s fault. Because… there are some similarities between the three movies. The heroes are playing age-appropriate roles and their family backgrounds are similar. If not, one difference is… In the movies Vikram’ and ‘Jailer’, the heroes played grandfather roles.
Venky’s father played a role in it. Vikram and Jailer are the heroes from the beginning. In ‘Saindhav’, the hero like the hero in the Hollywood hit franchise ‘John Wick’ works with gangsters and lives away from them. In Basha type. Hollywood moviegoers remember John Wick more. There are many scenes from that series in ‘Saindhav’. As It Is followed Shailesh Kolana’s ‘John Wick’ in terms of story and characters. But… they failed to create that magic.
Leaving aside all the movies we have seen in the past… even if we try to see ‘Saindhav’ as a new movie, it is difficult to be impressed by the way Shailesh Koluna is portrayed. This movie has sentiment, action, emotion… everything. But… a wreath looks beautiful if all the flowers are arranged neatly.
Otherwise, there will be a hundred and one. This movie is the same! There is no connection between the scenes. The songs rendered by Santhosh Narayanan are okay. But, the background music is not really good. Heroism is not really elevated. Build values are good.
Saindhav Movie Actors Performance:
Venkatesh gave life to Saindhav’s role. The emotional scenes were done as well as the fights were done effectively. The ease shown by him in the action sequences is good. Nawazuddin Siddiqui also did well. His dialogues mixing Hindi and Telugu are good. In the end, those dialogues are also boring. When he is speaking dialogue in Hindi and asking Andrea to translate it, he wants to say ‘Ika Chalu’.
Venkatesh and Nawazuddin’s characters, the concentration on those characterizations, director Shailesh did not put the pool on other artists. Tamil hero Arya will have a cameo appearance. Shraddha Srinath, Mukesh Rushi, Jishshu Sen Gupta, Ruhani Sharma, Jayaprakash, and others have done their respective roles. However, everyone has a routine role. What are the surprises?
Psycho…Venkatesh did well as Saindhav Koneru. Love his performance and action sequences. But… the movie disappoints. ‘Saindhav’ failed in giving commercial entertainment like Vikram and Jailer.
