Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, the new imposing chapter of the iconic sci-fi saga returns to show itself with the epic official full trailer released online by Warner Bros. Pictures in the last few hours.

The film will be set approximately 300 years after the events of The War – Planet of the Apes, the last film of the previous trilogy which arrived in 2017. After three centuries, the people brought by Caesar to the new promised land have established themselves as the dominant species, while humans have regressed to a feral state. However, it seems that the primate population is destined to make the same mistakes as in human history.

The figure of Caesar is still shrouded in legend, but the new leader Proximus Caesar forbids his teachings to enslave the other clans in search of now-ancient human technology. The common chimpanzee Noa, however, seems to remember well the teachings handed down by Caesar. You can find out more details about the plot thanks to the official synopsis of the film, which reads as follows:

Director Wes Ball breathes new life into the epic franchise with a new story set several generations after Caesar’s reign, where apes are now the dominant species living in harmony while humans have been reduced to living in the shadows. With a new ape leader tyrant intent on building his empire, a young ape embarks on a harrowing journey that will make her question everything she thought she knew about the past and allow her to make choices that will define a future for the apes and humans beings.
