Regarding promotions, the team is underplaying ‘The GOAT’, released worldwide on September 5. However, as it was advertised as Vijay’s last film after getting ready to enter politics, expectations were high for this film. And how is this movie? Now let’s see in the review how much it impressed the audience.

Goat Movie Story:

Gandhi (Talapathy Vijay) is a special anti-terrorism squad officer. Along with his teammates Sunil (Prashanth), Ajay (Ajmal), and Kalyan Sundaram (Prabhudeva) he does secret missions. He is careful not to let anyone, including his wife Anu (Sneha), know about this. While going abroad for a mission, Jeevan’s five-year-old son dies. Anu, who is already pregnant, gives birth to a baby and keeps her son away thinking that her husband’s work is the reason for his estrangement.

Gandhi also felt guilty that his son died because of him and distanced himself from the force. At the same time, Jeevan (Thalapathy Vijay 2), the son who was thought to be dead, goes to Moscow for a job. After bringing happiness to India, the people he thought would die. How did those deaths happen? How did Jeevan, who was originally thought dead, come back? How did Gandhi stop the deaths of his people? If you want to know that, you must watch the movie on the big screen.

Goat Movie Analysis:

Goat, directed by Venkat Prabhu and starring Vijay as the hero, has finally hit the screens. The story of this movie is nothing new. It is a story we have seen many times before. Many movies have come out with the point of the hero working in the defense department and his friends being Gong. It almost opened with such a point. There are also many movies where the hero’s son is raised as a villain and the hero is used against him. The same point is mainly chosen in these movies. But the scenes written after the hero’s son comes to take revenge on his father make the movie interesting.

But the move chosen to meet the hero’s son caused the movie to drag a lot. The entire first half took too much time to establish the hero’s character introduction and other characters. The entire film is predictable till the pre-interval. After the start of the second half, the screenplay also runs as expected for a long time.

But Venkat Prabhu succeeds in planning the climax to be a bit more interesting and appealing to the audience. But if the twists in the second half seem too much, it is not your fault. The second half was better than the first half. The son’s grudge against the father is there but there is a feeling that something is missing somewhere. But this movie will do well for Vijay fans, especially in Tamil Nadu. It can be a good experience movie for the rest of the audience. But it would have been better if they had taken care of the length of the movie.

Actors Performance:

Dalapathy Vijay shines in both roles. However, the little Vijay’s digitalized look feels edgy. What to say about Vijay in acting? He asked. But as always, he floated in the emotional scenes. But the dance also raised dust. Prabhu Deva, Prashanth, Sneha, and Meenakshi Chaudhary’s roles are decent. Prem Ji and Yogi Babu acted to the extent of their roles. As far as the technical team is concerned, director Venkat Prabhu has taken a lot of cinematic liberties in the script but delivers a good mass film.

But if a hero like Vijay falls in the hands, you can do anything else, but in some places, you feel wrapped up. Yuvan Shankar Raja has got full marks for the background score but it seems that he has not given full marks for the songs. Designing of stents is good. But some crucial episodes are not up to the mark. More time on the editing table would have been better.

Finally:

‘The Goat’ is a treat for Vijay fans.. but conditions apply for others.
