Hanuman Movie Review: Superheroes are not new to our audience. Until now, Hollywood superheroes have been seen more. Superhero on the Indian silver screen means Hindi hero, Greek God Hrithik Roshan ‘Krrish’ comes to mind. But… director Prashant Varma made ‘Hanu Maan’ inspired by Hindu mythology. The original superhero Hanuman was brought to the screen. Let’s see how this movie, starring Teja Sajja as the hero.
Hanuman Movie Story:
Hanuman (Teja Sajja) is the village of Anjanadri. He is a thief. Meenakshi (Amrita Iyer) has been in love since childhood. She is a doctor. Grandfather’s village Anjanadri comes for the summer holidays. It heals the people there. Palegadu (Raj Deepak Shetty) doesn’t care about development except collecting taxes from the people of the village. Opposing him, Meenakshi faces danger. To save her from that, Hanuman gets injured. Wounds disappear when white. Superpowers will come.
How did Hanuman get superpowers? Who is Siri alias Sirivennela (Vennela Kishore) who came to the town knowing about him? What did Michael who believed he would build a hospital in the village? Anjamma (Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar), Hanuman… What is the relationship between sister and brother? What did Vibhishana (Samudrakhani) do to Hanumat? What is the story of Rudhira Mani? You have to watch the movie to know.
Hanuman Movie Analysis:
Superhero movies have a template. ‘Hanuman’ did not go out of the template. Well, this is not a routine movie. Prashant Varma has made this film by continuing curiosity with comedy rather than Telugu nativity miss.
How did the hero deal with the villain who strives for a superpower, the simple hero, the villain who came to town for superpower? is the story of ‘Hanuman’ in brief. As mentioned earlier, Prashant Varma has successfully given a nativity comedy touch to this story. The movie is a comedy workout from start to end.
The director has acted wisely in the case of hero Teja Sajja’s character. From the front, the hero is not shown as Dhiruda, Suruda, or Veeruda. Introduced as a commoner. All those scenes were made so that the audience would believe that Teja Sajja fights. Finally, Hanuman was also cleverly brought into the story.
However, it does not mean that there are no disturbing scenes in the film. Palegadu scenes and some characters have been shown in detail and the length has increased. Establishing the villain’s characterization is good. However… his background needs to be fully explained. No need to ignore those errors.
‘Aa!’, ‘Kalki’, ‘Zombie Reddy’… but Prashanth Varma got a hat-trick of hits in just three films. Technically good films were given. ‘Hanuman’ is also technically good. The budget given to Prashant Varma was seen in every scene. The VFX is well done. When it comes to songs and background music… the three music directors have given an extraordinary output. Climax 15 minutes into background music.
Hanuman Movie Actors Performance:
Teja Sajja dressed as Hanuman. Comedy, fights, emotion… everything was done perfectly. He showed heroism without going beyond the limits of character. Amrita Iyer looked beautiful. She also shined as an actress. When the Varalakshmi Sarathkumar fight comes, the audience is guaranteed to whistle. Raj Deepak Shetty’s build-up before the role is not thereafter.
As an actor, he did it to the extent of his scope. Vinay Roy once again played a stylish villain role. Getup Srinu, Satya, Jabardast Rohini, Rakesh Master, and others laughed. Hero Teja Sajja’s timing (in action scenes) makes me laugh more than anyone else. Samudrakhani played the role of Vibhishan.
Finally… ‘Hanuman’ is the perfect family entertainer for Sankranthi. Children show more interest in superhero movies. There are plenty of things in the movie to entertain them. Climax Fifteen Minutes theaters resound with the names of Jai Hanuman and Jai Sriram. This is a movie that adults as well as children will enjoy. Goosebumps are guaranteed for the Hanuman episode.
