The Freelancer Web Series Storyline: 

The story of Disney Plus Hotstar’s The Freelancer is more fun to watch than it is to tell. The series begins with a team getting a task where they have to go to a high-security area and kill a person. The on-ground team is headed by ‘Freelancer’ (Mohit Raina), while Dr. Arif Khan (Anupam Kher) is present for the back support. 

This team goes and does its work, and along with it the dying person says- ‘So the freelancer is really there’. So, as the name itself suggests, this is a group, which does such work for money, which cannot be done by the rest of the governments of the country or their organizations. 

How did Avinash (Mohit Raina) become a freelancer before becoming a freelancer he was a part of the Mumbai Police, what happened to him there? How does he have to go to the Islamic States to save his friend’s daughter Alia Khan (Kashmiri Pardesi)? How does Aaliya get caught in all this and why the neta-police in Mumbai is also after Avinash? For all these questions you will have to watch ‘The Freelancer’.

The Freelancer Web Series Acting and Direction: 

‘The Freelancer’ stars Mohit Raina in the lead role, who is one of the finest actors and has won the hearts of the audience multiple times. This time also he has been seen doing a good job as an actor but according to the role, his physical fitness is less visible. Although its effect is not visible on any movement or action, as a viewer it definitely knocks. 

Anupam Kher is also in the lead role in the series, but as expected his screen time is less. The straight face with which Anupam is seen acting throughout the series really looks perfect according to the character. Anupam’s swag is visible in this look. Sushant Singh’s role is also less, but he seems to be doing justice to him. On the other hand, Ayesha is a very beautiful actress and this time also she has confirmed this fact. 

Kashmira Pardeshi has also done a heart-winning job. According to his character, his face shows innocence, flirtatiousness, seriousness, and trouble all the time as per the requirement. Apart from these, the work of other characters has also been fine. Talking about direction, Bhav Dhulia has gone a step ahead of his old work.

The Freelancer Web Series Analysis: 

‘The Freelancer’ is a little confusing in the beginning and one cannot understand which wire is being connected where, but soon it becomes clear and then the fun begins for a viewer. The writing of the series is its specialty, which has been written quite neatly. On the one hand, things are explained in the series with pauses, while on the other hand, some things are shown very fast, which is thrilling. 

There are some scenes in the series where Islamic State, Al Qaeda, ISIS, etc. have been explained in very simple language. How even educated people are being brainwashed. However, some people may have objections to this. The series is excellent from camera work to editing. Another thing beautifully shown in the series is how those who serve the country are often ignored and not listened to in times of need. This has been seen many times in different news also.

Watch or not: Overall, it can be said that this web series is a great thriller, which you can enjoy sitting at home. Once again the touch of Neeraj Pandey is being seen in the series, which gives pleasure as a viewer. By the way, let us also tell you that only 4 episodes have been released so far, while the remaining episodes will be released later. This is similar to what Disney Plus Hotstar did with ‘The Night Manager’.
